RocketMerit respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you when you use RocketMerit.
RocketMerit is operated by:

This Privacy Policy applies to the RocketMerit website, iOS application, Android application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
We collect information that is necessary to create your account, provide RocketMerit's services, process transactions, protect the platform, and provide support.
When you create or maintain a RocketMerit account, we may collect:
Some information is optional and can be controlled through your profile or settings.
RocketMerit uses Clerk for account authentication.
Your authentication credentials are handled by Clerk. RocketMerit does not receive or store your password.
You can sign in with an email address or with a supported sign-in provider: Google, LinkedIn or Apple. GitHub is not a sign-in option.
If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple shares with us a unique Apple user identifier, your name if you choose to share it, and an email address. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive an Apple relay address instead of your personal email, and Apple forwards our emails to you. Apple does not share your Apple Account password with us. You can stop using Sign in with Apple for RocketMerit in your Apple Account settings.
We may receive authentication-related information necessary to identify your RocketMerit account and maintain your authenticated session.
You may optionally connect supported third-party accounts, such as LinkedIn and GitHub, for Campaign and Task features. Connecting an account is separate from signing in. To verify a connected account, you sign in to that platform directly; RocketMerit receives only the account's public identifier and name.
When you connect an account, RocketMerit may store:
RocketMerit does not store the password of any connected account.
You remain responsible for your use of those third-party platforms and their applicable terms and policies.
You may disconnect supported accounts through RocketMerit's account settings where that functionality is available.

Some text is checked automatically before it is posted, using word lists and patterns, to stop sexual content, hate and slurs, threats, off-platform contact or payment details, and unsafe links. This check does not make decisions about your account. Decisions about content and accounts are made by a person.
We do not tell a reported user who reported them. Blocked users are not notified that you blocked them.
RocketMerit uses third-party payment providers to process payments.
Depending on the transaction, these may include Stripe and other payment providers made available by RocketMerit.
RocketMerit does not store your full payment-card number.
Payment providers may collect and process payment information directly according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

On our website, page views are measured without cookies and without storing anything on your device; we do not record which public profile or campaign you opened. We respect your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings.
You can turn this off at any time in Data & Privacy (app) or Profile (website) under "Help improve RocketMerit". The setting applies to your account on all devices. We do not record analytics for users we know to be under 16. When your account is permanently deleted, the identifier is replaced, so past analytics can no longer be linked to you.
